It is what you expect. It takes up quite a bit of counter space, so I'm not sure it's the most practical for condiments. I use it to display my shot glasses. It's quite large and not the most compact, I don't think it's storage like a spice rack. But the quality is good and like I said you get what you think about so if that's what you want then you have it.
