Overall these bar stools are very good and appear to be sturdy. However, there is a problem when the seatback angles are different. It's hard to tell when the chairs will be photographed side by side. For illustration, I used a tape measure to show the difference in angles. You only notice that when you put it together, then it's too late. I don't think the seats were bent in transit, although the box was damaged. (Submitted by the US Postal Service) I say this because I tried to flex the back of one seat to line it up with the other seat, but it didn't move. During assembly I had to use tweezers to remove wood shavings from the bottom holes in the seat where the mounting screws go. Chips in the holes prevented the screws from being fixed. These issues are related to the manufacturer's quality control, which deserves one star. Another star is deducted for the shipping method. When it comes to these items, I trust FedEx or UPS, not USPS.
