Review on Natural Travertine Coasters by Marbleobject – Premium Marble Coasters by Cory Mosley

I recently bought 2 orders for these totaling 8 coasters. I know this guy because I've had several sets over the years and love them. When I saw that they were called "beige" but one of the pictures looked white, I realized this was a play on color. The ones I already had were beige so I was hoping they would match. But that didn't happen. You are definitely white. Not really surprised at how I said I knew she b. Second, they don't have the same coarser texture as my very high quality originals. They are smooth except for holes and therefore do not absorb any moisture at all. They will "trap" some liquid in the holes, but just to give you an idea. Neither of those two things would actually be a deal breaker. Just a little crap. They charge for quality, but it just doesn't exist. --- Now we come to the big problems. As I said, I have placed two orders. I received them in the same package but in separate small boxes. There was a set of four in each box, so I opened them at the same time. When I opened the first box, I immediately felt a super-super-strong smell of some sort of perfume scent. I thought it was very strange but they looked good so we just kept going. I opened a second box with an even stronger - I mean very, very, very, very STRONG - totally different scent. Pungent chemical odor. I used a very caustic mold and mildew spray in the shower just two days prior and immediately recognized the same smell. Baffled that they would smell at all, even if they had two completely different scents? All I knew was that I felt like I had to wear gloves to handle them when they smell like that. Then, looking at her, I realized that y. They had a lot of mold! So they tried to clean it up and sell them anyway! In fact, you could delete traces where they tried to remove them. Idk if sour is the right word. Maybe more disgust from total disbelief? In one set they used this extremely strong cleaner, in the other they used another strong cleaner that wasn't specifically made for mold. WHO DOES THAT?!?!?! Yes, mold is part of life, unfortunately accidents happen. But that's not the case! Is this how you try to cheat? WTAF. Worst case scenario for me because I'm extra sensitive and they not only sent me a lot of mold but also a lot of chemicals. When I say a lot, I mean they fill the room with their scent. We were really hoping someone would open them, no mould, there wouldn't be a problem with that very strong chemical smell 😊 There is literally no chance. Surely they should have just hoped it would be too much trouble for someone to return and they would just get the money for themselves. this "company" is a joke and this whole situation is pure bullshit
