I bought this as a birthday present for my daughter. We looked at more expensive speakers but in the end not only did she want something to play her music, she also really wanted an alarm function and of course the color change was appealing to a child! It's a nice compact size with an easy to read display and an easy to use alarm function with the ability to choose between buzzer, radio or music streaming from your bluetooth enabled device. It has a snooze function which my daughter loves and I not so much when she has to get up and leave! I have to admit that the color changing feature is quite fun! There are 5 color options available: Red, Blue, Amber, Green and White with 4 modes including the ability to customize the wake up mood. The colors are bright but not overpowering and add just the right amount of sparkle to a child's room! The sound quality was actually quite good; It was pretty easy to stream music from their iPad and it also works with iTouch, iPhone as well as other platforms like Android and Blackberry. Satisfied with quality and performance. You can also connect a cable (chargers not included) to charge your device which is another bonus! It was easy to set up, easy to use and you honestly get decent sound from this unit. The alarm aspect and color changing features are fun; and I like the fact that you can stream music wirelessly. Overall, for the price, this was a great purchase!
