Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for school! in my rating

I bought this for nursing school to have multiple windows open for productivity and it's perfect! I bought it from Revain and it came in great condition. The picture quality is great and the ergonomic arm is so slim and flawless! I use it with a base model MacBook Pro M1 Pro 14" 2021 and connect it with the included USB-C cable. It charges my MacBook perfectly no matter how much schoolwork I do. I've had some issues with the monitor turning wouldn't turn on after my macbook went to sleep but i found that the monitor wakes up when you press the space bar on the keyboard quickly instead of trying to wake it up by moving the mouse On-screen software controls shared by LG If you find that the split-screen option isn't working (it takes a long time to buffer or open), then that's because you need to update the monitor software and it's working fine, go to that go to the LG website and enter the monitor number, download the new software update and it will fix the situation.I found that there were problems with the monitor that was too uses more than 100% CPU and turns on the MBP. My MacBook was getting very hot, and of course that was due to the high CPU usage and energy (110%). However, I've found that once you've set up Windows correctly, you can "quit" the software controls on the screen (split screen) and you won't be wasting a super high CPU percentage or energy anymore. I no longer have overheating issues after exiting OSD. When you exit split screen, your webpages will not be affected in any way and will remain the same size as before. Using LG's on screen controls helps as it scales your pages perfectly instead of having to scale them yourself. And like I said, after you add them to the size you want, exit the screen controls and your CPU and power levels will be back to normal. This is a problem with all LG ultrawide monitors, not just this one, but I found a solution. Some people have complained about blurry text, but that's normal when going from the crisp MBP screen to an IPS panel. It takes a little getting used to, but your eyes will adjust perfectly. The text is great and it's not a monitor issue, it's an issue where your eyes have to adjust to a different screen. The color was perfect from the start, but with the RTS screen mode you get the most similar colors compared to MBP.
