I use Fedora and Ubuntu, latest versions and latest kernels, old wifi stopped working a few years ago because I ordered another version from another vendor who claimed it work on Linux: no longer works. I'm not a beginner, I know how to modify the kernel, compile drivers, etc., couldn't even get others to compile on Fedora, Ubuntu, and Raspbian. I asked the community if Panda PAU09 actually works with the latest kernels, for Fedora I installed 5.1.5. The seller replied that it came out of the box with the latest kernels, so I ordered. Received the device the next day. and woohoo, my laptop is on wifi again, both bands. Very good, no downloads from third party sites, no need to compile a driver for a specific kernel version, nothing. It really was plug and play. Very beautiful.
