Impressive packaging best in amplifiers

This is my new favorite desktop miniature amp - I've had a bunch. A truly unique shape feature and small enough to fit in Toblerone packaging. The sound quality is quite good - transparent and colorless. NO annoyances like bumps when turned on or hissing at volume, it's very quiet. Realistically, it feels like a quality 25 watts per channel when using 8 ohm speakers, which is plenty of amplification for a medium-sized room. Don't expect concert volume, certainly, but there's plenty of power for a typical townhouse living room or self-contained office space. In combination with an active subwoofer and satellites, it will produce quite good volume. Otherwise, the product makes a solid impression thanks to high-quality connections and controls - nothing looks cheap. A small note - the power supply in the kit has a built-in transformer, like a laptop power supply. The cable section between the trance and the amplifier is only a few meters long. This means if the amp is on a 36 inch table and cables are hanging from the back of the rack, the transformer will be hanging off the floor and pulling the amp. If so, keep it short because of the low voltage.

Pros
  • handy piece
Cons
  • keep quiet
