ideal for solar panel
I was looking for something to connect to my solar panel to run a 12v fan to cool the container during the day. does not charge the battery. Solar controllers do not have a timer that works during the day. They work for solar panels. 13V to 30V outputs 12V. Below 13 volts you lose about 1 volt. (Input 11 volts, output 10 volts) My solar panel is 21 volts with no load. this works great for my needs.
