Don't drink after changing the recipe.

I have been drinking this tea all day, every day for over 10 years. Fast forward to the last 5 boxes I bought that had to be thrown away. Good Earth changed the recipe and it's downright gross. Yes, disgusting. I'm not exaggerating how awful a new recipe or concoction is. Please save yourself the trouble and learn from my mistakes. DO NOT BUY this product until they have this clarified. The new recipe for this tea was/is undrinkable with a horrible chemical smell and taste and you will know it as soon as it touches your tongue. This gave me and other reviewers stomach upsets. I still hope it was just an accident and a bad batch from their dealer but reading other reviews confirmed what I feared. This new tea is her new recipe and it's just awful. Hoping I thought it was a bad batch. So I even tried buying them from different grocery stores and I had the same problem. The product just stinks now. The new Good Earth Sweet and Spicy recipe is absolutely and unequivocally unacceptable and will most likely give you an upset stomach like it did to me and other reviewers. Pay attention to the label attached to the thread. If the label is not plain paper but is a new shiny synthetic sticky tacky label, discard it immediately and/or contact Revain for a refund. I hope that enough loyal customers will step up and help Good Earth understand that Bob counters bring every business down to earth. This product will be discontinued if this new recipe stays because now that they've tried to save pennies to cut costs and substitute ingredients, it's absolute rubbish. Also, given the terrible taste of this product, no new customer will become a regular customer. Loyal customers are willing to pay more to get the quality of the ingredients and the consistency of the product. Good Earth needs to understand that as a result of these changes, they will lose their customer base and business entirely. save your money Do not buy this product. Things went wrong and Good Earth needs to go back to the original recipe and remember the basics. Business 101: Quality and ingredients matter. Yes, I said so. Consumers know when to cut corners to save money. Your loyal customers know that you tampered with the original recipe using inferior, inedible, unnatural, chemically flavored ingredients that I wouldn't sure recommend to anyone after the stomach issues I and other reviewers have had to keep an open mind when trying this new one drink recipe. Save yourself the hassle and throw it away. If anyone on Good Earth reads this, PLEASE send back the original recipe and ingredients. Your brand and product are known for their consistent quality and incredible taste. Drinking your original tea was an experience that brought many of us a moment of gratitude and peace in our busy lives, but it also proved to be a unique, fragrant, delicious and refreshing product that was part of our daily rituals and life . At some point you will have to discontinue your product if you continue down this path because right now it's terrible. Quality, consistency and ingredients are important. Your loyal customers are important. You're better than that, good earth.
