We haven't had a TV case for a long time but so far we're very happy with it. The material is very strong and easy to close fully once in place (it has strong velcro straps). we use. Sitting on a 65 inch TV, he finds the perfect fit. It's not too tight, leaving room for cords etc to tangle and roll up when closed. Our TV is under a canopy so it's not fully exposed to the elements, but the lid definitely keeps everything out of the morning dew/humidity. We're in Southern California so extreme weather isn't usually a big deal for us, but we'll have a chance to experience it for ourselves this year with all the rain. For now I would highly recommend this case and I have no doubts that you will be satisfied with it.
