Garbage, Compost, and Lawn Bags Non-Spill Protection

These are the only compostable bags allowed in Canada as Canada does not have the high temperature green compost bag equipment used in the US. . I had to use them while living in Canada and they are terrible. They are not airtight, condensation after 2-3 days will cause the bag to rip like any other paper bag. This liner only really helps leak for a few minutes after you've discarded your contents. After throwing it away and throwing the bag in the trash can in the yard, it just rips apart and your food scraps get scattered everywhere. It's like green compost bags, they aren't durable either, but at least they don't cost more than $1 a bag. They're more like pennies a bag. I hated it, hated the fact that Canada doesn't accept standard green compost bags and everyone has to freeze their compost in used ice buckets so they don't have to buy this horrible crap at inflated prices. I'm glad we're not being forced to use them in the US.
