I have a filament in my 50 gallon aquarium. So when I needed a heater for my quarantine tank I thought I'd buy another one, just a smaller one. The heating aspect works well, it maintains the right temperature, never had a problem. The problem is that the light illuminating the temperature is so bright that at night this little quarantine tank looks like it's lit during the day. Which is not good for fish.
