Does not tighten or leave marks on the hair. I use it in conjunction with the same series of conditioners. I love how my hair looks and feels afterwards. My photos were taken after not washing my hair for a few days and after using shampoo and conditioner. As for my routine, as mentioned before, I don't wash my hair every day to prevent it from drying out. Also, I usually apply the conditioner to the ends and then work my way a little towards the roots. I leave the conditioner on and comb through, then rinse out. I heard that you shouldn't comb your hair in the shower but it helps me and my hair falls out less when I do it. The strongest hair survives! I have straight hair that gets greasy easily. This product works great for me and I feel like my hair looks the way I want it to last longer (doesn't get greasy too quickly).
