Replaced by another manufacturer and thing works great.

Wow, what a nice difference from another brand. I've been using the same brand for many years. However, on two motherboards for 8-core processors they bought, the old brand just wasn't stable. Oh sure, if I kept my mouth shut I could boot Debian Linux and it would run for literally months without a reboot. The problem was in the initial setup. In both cases, the boards rebooted spontaneously during installation. Eventually I got fed up and replaced both motherboards with these. Now let's talk stable. All I had to do was plug everything in and then install the operating system. No fuss, no fuss. I use RAM that isn't on their "approved" list, but I haven't had any problems. I have five drives, 32GB of RAM, all sorts of fans, and a 125W octa-core processor. I cannot recommend this motherboard enough for an AMD FX processor.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Almost never
