I've been wearing these every weekend for 4 years. The same batteries, chargers and socks. Everything works great! Opening day can range from -10 to 45, but sitting perfectly still for 12 hours will not keep a boot warm. I bought 3 sets in a weird sale for next to nothing; However, I have extra batteries that need to be replaced after 4-5 hours of intense firing of the first set.
