The next day after purchase, at first it seemed like there wasn't enough light. I disabled it and moved it and then it worked. I figured if you turn it on at max power it will overheat (around the plug) and shut down. I tried not to do that. However, I bought one in March, now it no longer lights up. It stays at a constant brightness level no matter how much I increase/decrease it, switch settings. It was a waste of money to only work 3 months. I use this light when I do manicures for my clients and now I have to use natural light in my office (which sucks!). Now I'm looking for quality light to photograph manicure classes.
