Self-Destructive Disorder.

At first glance this looks like a great direct drive printer. But it's a flawed mess that self-destructs. Oftentimes, no matter how you calibrate the device or how clean your Gcode is, a brass nozzle sticks into the heater plate, destroying the flexible nozzle and clogging the extruder. This appears to be accidental and ruined my first nozzle and badly scratched the build plate. Luckily you get a second nozzle which cannot be swapped out as the rest of the direct drive unit has to be disassembled to get to it. And after I did all that, the heating pipe couldn't be moved, so I was wasting my time anyway. Their instructional video tells you to heat up to 240Β°C while disassembling the machine to be able to remove the heating tube, which poses a huge risk of fire and burns and a potential lawsuit. I tried removing the nozzle without taking it apart and it felt like it was soldered, as did the heater tube. Then there's the touch interface. Oh boy. I could forgive his inaccuracy if he didn't make mistakes all the time. The screen is randomly turned upside down. It turns completely white if I touch it wrong, which requires a reboot. And then sometimes the thing just freezes randomly, whether it's in the middle of printing or somewhere else. Then it will often "refuse" when preheating the filament. I've only used PLA and TPU on this device and it "fails" when heated. The machine often fails to delete previous threads and hangs, requiring a lot of poking around with the "cleaner". I would commend the smoothness of the device if it didn't make a deafening pee every time you turn the machine on. This printer is like a potentially good design with terrible execution. Decent hardware, but if lack of control causes it to break down, then what's the point? Save your money and get ender3 or something. I may have wasted my $400, but you don't have to. I took one for the team.
