Bought, spent about 2 hours trying to figure out how to hook it up to my angle grinder. The instructions aren't that good and there is very little to link to on YouTube or anywhere else. Good, connected. It has an adjustable depth and you set that depth, then open the lid latch, this allows the blade to sit higher to start slicing, then gradually lower the blade until you reach your desired set depth, then latches the lid. then you go ahead. The dust collector port faces the FRONT of your grinder as shown in my picture. BUT after setting it up and hooking it up to a vacuum, everything worked EXCELLENT! I cut the tile about 1/2 inch thick. I started making cut passes because if I cut it about 3 inches wide I can separate it from the base, in one piece, without a ton of fragments, so I can take the bottom off. So I started cutting the floor about every 3 inches and I will do this on the ENTIRE floor before removing the tiles so we can still use the bathroom. BUT at the same time the subfloor / masonry remains, does not splinter, the tile detaches from the grid where the leveling compound was and minimal fragments of the tile!. And the suction works great. very few escaped from the front of the unit. The tile was BATTERY INTENSE, the cuts you see together required 3 x 4Ah batteries. BUT, as I said, it's worth it; collects 95% of dust; After that I lightly vacuumed the floor then wiped the surrounding areas and very little red clay with a damp rag. So Dewalt, put together the best build video for this (it's NOT too hard if you can see how) and you've got a great tool AND instructions!
