We had just completed a basement/bar renovation and needed a way to make cocktails without having to keep going upstairs for ice. This solved our problem. It was great to have ice on hand when needed. We didn't empty it after using it one night and there was still some ice in it the next morning! The only minor thing I didn't like is that the hole where the tongs are inserted is not blocked, so water can get in when washing, but it can eventually shake out. This does not affect the overall use of the product.
