12 is comfortable and I usually wear a 12 wide. GTX works fine. I live in the rainy Pacific Northwest and these photos were taken right after walking home in the rain. Worth mentioning that they have definitely been worn before as the soles of the shoes were sticky and a bit dirty. A shoe also has a brand, but that's not enough for a return. The box was also torn.
