Adidas Terrex Trailmaker 🏔️ Hiking Shoe with Gore-TEX Technology Review

The shoes of this particular style have several different designs. The biggest disadvantage of this model are the laces. It's very uncomfortable. If you look at how the upper lace is attached compared to other models, the laces on this model cut into the foot. I love the color scheme and bought it "cheaper" than usual but I would avoid that and look at other designs with more lace loops at the top instead of so far back.

I bought these to wear on walks when visiting relatives in Scotland. We went for walks daily and this shoe has performed brilliantly. I wanted gore-tex shoes as I expected them to be a bit wet. And I knew I would need traction for rough and muddy terrain. I never lost traction and my feet stayed dry despite having to wade through puddles on occasion. If they have a limit, I haven't exceeded it. And it is worth noting that they are comfortable and relatively light.

These shoes are not Gore-Tex as stated in the description. No Gore-Tex logo on shoes and wear only after inspection in wet conditions. I've had several pairs of adidas Terrex, all of which were Gore-Tex, had a Gore-Tex logo somewhere on the shoes, and they've performed great in the wettest of conditions. They definitely cheated with the purchase.

That's why I wear Adidas all the time. Tennis, Golf, Casual, Running. Always a size 12. They were a bit tight in the sock in the 12th. I sent them back and ordered 12.5. My guess is that the Gore-Tex lining added to the shoe adds internal dimension and takes up interior space. This made the space a little smaller. these shoes are great. I use them to walk my dog in the forest/river near where I live. water repellent, can't dive too deep or just slip into the sock. very light and comfortable. Also, this is ADIDAS, the outfitter of the Manchester United team. Buy something!

Father's Day gift from husband. He really liked them and said they were very comfortable. It runs all day and he gives it a 10! They are also very cute.

I did these hikes into central Kenta and didn't have to break them first. They fit very well and my feet stayed dry the whole trip. Feels no different than wearing regular running shoes

12 is comfortable and I usually wear a 12 wide. GTX works fine. I live in the rainy Pacific Northwest and these photos were taken right after walking home in the rain. Worth mentioning that they have definitely been worn before as the soles of the shoes were sticky and a bit dirty. A shoe also has a brand, but that's not enough for a return. The box was also torn.

Adidas tends to be a little tight, but even going half a size up didn't help because the firm rubber that provides waterproofing rises up the sides and where it stops, an uneven appearance on the lateral Side of the foot creates, which together with the tightness of the shoe causes pain after a short walk. These are comfortable shoes, but they are strange. A bulging look, the tongue is too high and sits awkwardly under the laces. It's almost like a concept shoe that needed a few more design tweaks before it hit the market. You could do better, but it would be easier to do worse.

I've used them for a recent hike, rock climb and canyoning and they've worked flawlessly. We ran about 45 miles in wet conditions with no issues, but they really stood out in the gorges. The soles adhere very strongly to the rocks but stand up to the excessive wear that is normal for soft rubber soles. Amazing purchase and would definitely recommend

This is a really comfortable pair of walking or hiking shoes. Your feet will be warm and dry in cold and wet weather. Comfortable even in hot weather. good traction and you will thank me after the first week.

They look great but they need time to recover. My legs hurt the first few times I wore them. In addition, they are much more comfortable to wear with thick wool socks. They also passed the water resistance test. I intentionally stepped in big puddles and never got wet feet. I think they are good boots.

Overall this is a great product. I read several reviews prior to purchasing which suggested taking a half size up because they run small and while I was abroad my main concern was deciding whether or not to buy my normal size, because I wouldn't do it. Walked my dogs on the wet golf course daily for 3 months. I loved these shoes when I first got them and still do. When they fell apart after 3 months I bought shoe glue but it just won't stick together. I'm considering cobblers because they're so comfortable but just don't hold together.

They may not fit or be comfortable, but they are. Very good to wear in the autumn-spring season. Goretex works as it should.
