I was a little apprehensive about this but it looks fantastic. we got it because, believe it or not, China is the only place that makes this particular electric espresso maker that we wanted. So need it to be able to use it in the US. HARD, but it works! The pot came with a converter plug but it was useless as not enough power was being fed to the pot. the thing looks like an apple --- adorable :-) We'll probably take it on a trip, but I think it's too heavy to fly! I doubt there is one that works and is easier. maybe smaller, but according to the instructions, the power could be too low for our pan
