Review on Optimized FRAM Extra Guard Air Filter CA10190, Ideal for Pontiac, Scion, and Toyota Vehicle Models by Nick Gathings

I had trouble installing this air filter on my Corolla. I just replaced my other Corolla with another brand and changing the engine air filter was a breeze. This time, however, no matter what I did, it just didn't add up. When comparing it to an old air filter, I noticed that the rim of this filter is too thick and it doesn't close the air can and the latches don't engage. (The attached photo shows the thick edge on the left and the correct edge on the right). It should also be noted that the filter was not in any plastic bag to protect it from dirt. I am returning it as it does not fit my 2012 Corolla.
