Good warm white 12V LED bulbs

I don't understand why nobody makes 12V LED string lights but as of 2020 you don't have a choice to make your own. These bulbs are just about perfect for this role. I use them for camping/standalone applications where I've always wanted a "bistro" style string of lights over my campsite. The idea is to have lots of dim bulbs that throw warm light in all directions and create a nice atmosphere as opposed to glaring spotlights that cast shadows and ruin my night vision. But no one makes 12V LED bistro strings today. Of course, there are options with incandescent bulbs, but they are extremely inefficient and there is no excuse for expending so much energy on lighting in the 21st century. You can also easily buy 120VAC bistro LED string lights, but using an inverter to power the LEDs is wasteful, causes nasty flickering, creates an unnecessary risk of electrocution, and most importantly, is downright stupid since LEDs are themselves low-voltage devices. To make your own 12 volt bistro LED string, you will need these bulbs, a spool of SPT cord, a set of E12 connectors for SPT cords, and any connectors you wish to connect to your power supply. If you touch the lanterns frequently, e.g. B. every time you go camping or break camp you can protect each bulb with clear heat shrink tubing as they are made of thin glass just like old bulbs. FYI, the outside diameter of the lamp is 0.875 inch. The lamps look great and shine in a beautiful warm white color tone. I have measured a current draw of 35-40mA per lamp at 12V and 45-50mA at 14V. The only way this could be better for my application would be if the lamp envelope was made of high impact plastic (e.g. polycarbonate) instead of glass.
