lid cannot be disassembled for internal cleaning. Just flush with water through the hole. The seal fell off while looking at it and I will not put it back on. Very disappointed as it needs a vacuum pot that takes the lid apart to clean the inside. I have the same gint, only the seal remains. I just don't want to know what's growing there.
