My kids use Echo Dots to connect and listen to music around the house and it's not very comfortable. They fight over which device to use, and I wasn't able to make contemporary pop music when I was working. So this is the speaker my son got. It's cute and you can take it with you, it doesn't play music but it's a great speaker to plug his phone, laptop or tablet into. It also has a cute design and I love the light that lights up in the middle. It looks like a camping light or is inspired by the Apple Speakers woofers they released in the early 2000s. It's fun, retro and modern at the same time.
