Note: 27" monitors fit 19-24" bodies. It is recommended to place the monitor face down in the bag (the front of the monitor touches the back of the case). Perfect width fit. Used as checked baggage on several flights - absolutely no problem. Great case, but WAY too deep for today's ultra-thin flat panels and TVs. I assume the support depth is intended to accommodate monitor stands or legs. I don't travel with monitor stands, but I use Tripar Heavy Duty Desktop Photo Frame Holder 23-1242 Twisted Wire Plate Display Easel/Cymbal Stand Black 6". Most thin LCD monitors fit this product, which can also be bent to change the viewing angle. I toss the stand in my luggage so I only have the monitor, keyboard, and cables in my bag. a nasty lock, but it's by no means secure. Also, 2 inches of foam was added to fill the space inside and there was still plenty of room for my keyboard. It's enough for now, but I hope that the manufacturer makes the thing even smaller and lockable, otherwise 5 stars.
