Overall I like these shoes. They are well designed and look great! Not sure why, but these Nunn Bush shoes appear to be about a half to a full size larger than other popular men's shoes in the same size. I usually wear size 9 dress shoes and ordered a size 8 1/2. They fit almost perfectly but are still a bit big so I wear them with thicker cotton socks and a pair of Dr. Scholl's Work insoles. I think this classic loafer shoe was designed with less leather material in the upper which can make my feet feel less secure in the shoe. Ironically, the actual length of the shoe is correct, but most of the time it feels large due to its construction. I usually leave my dressy shoes at my desk at work and throw on a pair of Nike sneakers that I wear to work so I don't have to spend long hours standing and walking around town in those shoes. So I think they should be good for general office use and for special occasions.
