I've Spilled More Gas with Federally Approved Safety Injectors! Wanted to get back to basics with this product. Mission accomplished, but not without problems. What you need to know: Right on the packaging it says "Not suitable for gas cylinders." You should probably do this to avoid legal action. But really? - None of the rings fit the threads on my gas cans (standard Home Depot red gas cans). The good news is that I was able to take the safety jets apart and use the old threaded rings on the new jets. There are no instructions! It would be nice if they told you how to install ventilation. I ended up drilling a 1/2 inch hole in the back of my gas bottle handles and popping the vents in place. A decent product for those who are comfortable and resourceful. But I'm afraid someone looking for "ready to use" might get frustrated and possibly injure themselves trying to install a vent or using one of the rings that doesn't fit properly.
