Well another completed project

and something I will never do again. Nothing about working with tiles satisfies me in the slightest. I have a large tiled walk in shower and for the past 4 years my sister and brother in law have used it solely because they stayed with me. As it turned out, for the past 4 years, the dear sister did not consider it necessary to wash the shower! They had just undressed and when I saw my SHRUDDY shower I couldn't believe my eyes. I sprayed him with bleach for 2 weeks and he didn't mind. Tried deleting with no success. Sign up for Homax. It took me a week to clean up the grout and sand the grout area and I was ready to finally redo the grout. I prefer pipe caulking but couldn't find the gray color I needed so I had to use a caulking gun. I hate cartridge guns. Bought a new no-drip caulking gun (awesome invention bought here at Revain) and this awesome Homax tool and plucked up the courage to make caulking. After all the prep work, I really didn't want to screw anything up! Using a no-drip caulking gun and this awesome Homax caulking tool, the job was completely painless and done in an hour, and looks like it was done by a pro. I love how the Homax's curved rubber acts like a mop on the floor and wall. I got a very clean bead for the most part with very little cleaning. You have to get the right angle on it and then it works great. The right angle and cleanliness are often good. I'm so glad I bought this tool. I bought two so I have a spare if I ever need a touch up. Tile work is terrible work for me (I made my apron years ago and hated every minute of it) but with the right tools it wasn't as bad as I feared. However, if I can help, I will never tile again. Buy this Homax tool! This makes caulking a lot easier, as does a no-drip caulking gun.
