The overall design and feel of the door handle is pretty good. Looks nice, modern, bought this for the bathroom door to match the decor and other finishes in the bathroom. Unfortunately the one sent to me was defective but I really needed to fit this door knob and didn't want to return the item. if i could solve the problem. I have found that the problem is with the adjustable latch that adjusts 2 3/8" or 2 3/4", it does not work properly. The mangle got stuck at the 2 3/4 position and moved to the 2 3/8 position. As a result, I removed the latch to check the cause of the latch not working. It turned out that the hook on the inner end of the latch was bent and stuck. I used pliers and bent the missing piece into shape after I was able to set the door lever to the 2 3/8 position. was able to install, it still took a bit of struggle to get it right. It couldn't be easier to proceed with the installation as the instructions in the manual that came with it were very poor. One of the panels/flanges had to be removed and then turned around to use the privacy button hole, insert a screwdriver into the hole and tighten the two screws holding both sides of the panel/button firmly against the door and secure to the door hole.
