Best Basket Under $100

As of February 2021 this is the best basket currently available. It looked almost identical to the MVP Lite basket and after putting it together I'm pretty sure it's the same blue painted basket which isn't bad since that one will cost you $25 less. Assembly took less than 10 minutes and seemed pretty solid after a practice round. There are 24 chains, but it still doesn't feel like there are 24, so I'm guessing it must be because the chains are lighter or just smaller than a standard basket. However, it doesn't matter whether you intend to use the basket just for putting or for personal recreation. I haven't had it long enough to say if it will withstand the elements, but will post an update if/when rust occurs. It currently sits in my shed covered with a tarp and since it was snowing heavily I wrapped the base in a garbage bag to keep it from getting too wet. BENEFITS: - Best basket on AMZ - MVP basket with 24 chain stitched leather - Sturdy construction perfect for backyard practice. CONS: - The chains are smaller than regular chains, so although there are 24 of them, there seem to be fewer of them. Update: At the time of purchase, the basket was $80, but now it appears to be priced the same as the Remix Deluxe basket. If that's what you're looking for, I'd definitely recommend the Deluxe for the same price. Update 2: I found a solution to prevent the chains from slipping on the rim they are hanging from. Find a 1/2 inch pipe and cut it into 2-3 inch sections. Then cut the pieces so you can fit a piece of rubber between each S hook. The rubber keeps the chain strands in place and prevents slipping. around. Update 3: I forgot to cover the basket with a tarpaulin before it started raining and after a few days the chains started to rust, and that after everything was already covered with a clear flexible seal. For the purchase price I wasn't expecting rustproof chains, but now that the price has gone up you might want to consider similarly priced baskets with higher quality chains, but you can make them rustproof yourself with a little effort and hammering a $6 can of Rustoleum with one Wire brush to remove as much rust as possible I applied a few coats to the chain; If you use silver you won't be able to tell they've been painted (unless you spray the bar/other blue parts) and the fake paint will keep rust from spreading and future rust formation. still one of the best bangs for your dollar baskets out there.
