I chose the G-Boom after reading so many good reviews about it. I originally considered buying the Logitech UE Boom. But I gave in to this one as it was half the price and I have no regrets! This thing sounds amazing and trust me it gets REALLY LOUD. I like loud music but I've never been able to crank it to maximum volume. There is no quality distortion even when I listen to it at high volume. Since everyone is basically giving this item 5 stars and the same rating, I just wanted to point out a few things I'd like to see in the next iteration (which I really hope, so I have a reason to buy another). . SUGGESTIONS (I'm willing to pay more for this!): 1.) NFC PAIRING - this would make it much more convenient for friends at the party to play music from their phone. 2.) POWER SAVING MODE - possibly turn on 1 of each driver (main, tweeter and subwoofer) to save battery life when battery is low or for use in a small space 3.) PAIR WITH ANOTHER G- BOOM SPEAKERS - I also have Logitech UA Boom Mini and it has some great features like pairing with another UA Mini so they play at the same time. It's fantastic at parties as the sound doesn't just come from one corner of the room. 4.) UNIFORM SOUND DISTRIBUTION. Currently, audio sounds best when pointed directly at you. Maybe it's the orientation of the speakers or the construction of the design.
