I expected more from a brand at a reasonable price? I expected the mug to keep my coffee hot or my tea cold for a long time, and in that regard it fell short of my expectations. In fact, my coffee only stayed warm a little longer than in a regular glass or ceramic mug. The seal on the bottom of the lid works well and doesn't leak even after a few weeks, but the top of the lid is a different story. I was hoping to get a travel mug that was at least as good as the logo insulated mug I bought at Menard's for $2.99, but it's definitely not as good! The biggest disappointment for me was the lack of a sealed lid. It has a small lid that slides over the area where the drinking hole is, but if it falls on your car seat or computer desk, you'll definitely have to hurry to clean it up quickly. This allows hot/cold air to escape meaning your drink stays hot or cold for a much shorter period of time. If you're looking for a fully moisture-proof and heat-resistant travel mug, it might be best to visit your local Menard's store. lol Overall I don't recommend this mug. That's a lot of money for a travel mug that doesn't prevent spills or keep your drink at the right temperature.
