I patiently train a rescue dog not to bark during our whistle and clicker walks through the woods. It's been 2 weeks and definitely an improvement. You should still use verbal commands and light praise.
- Tips: The dog whistle voice is not quiet, just quieter than you think. Many people cannot hear the sound of a whistle clearly, BUT YOUR DOGS CAN. Dogs are much more sensitive to this frequency than humans. Don't worry about that.
