Replaced the OEM part with this walking part while fixing another issue. I chose to leave it on the truck because it seems to be working fine, although the exhaust smells a bit strong, but I left the OEM. After bad emissions (high CO indicates enrichment or incomplete combustion), I cleaned and replaced the OEM. The strong odor was gone and the truck stopped emitting emissions. The reason I suspected the MAF might be the problem was that the sensor wires just didn't look right. The OEM block has two small, identical wires suspended inside the case, while the Walker block has two much larger, different sized wires that look almost like resistors instead. I'm wondering if maybe Walker found a way to "simplify" the design and maybe work great at sea level (I'm at about 5000ft) or if it works great on some trucks but not in my situation work properly.
