Dysfunctional sensor ruins vehicle performance

Based on my observations this Automotive Sensor did more harm than good to my vehicle. The sensor failed to function properly and resulted in poor performance and lower fuel efficiency..

Made the truck rich with weird looking hot wire

Replaced the OEM part with this walking part while fixing another issue. I chose to leave it on the truck because it seems to be working fine, although the exhaust smells a bit strong, but I left the OEM. After bad emissions (high CO indicates enrichment or incomplete combustion), I cleaned and replaced the OEM. The strong odor was gone and the truck stopped emitting emissions. The reason I suspected the MAF might be the problem was that the sensor wires just didn't look right. The OEM block…
