Suitable if you use heat to stretch it
All reviews that say it is smaller than the container are true. However, since this lid is made of soft plastic, I used a hair dryer to heat the plastic and used pliers to pry the edge back slightly. I have it fit on a container. Let it cool down and take it off. It was still difficult to put it back on. I think I'll try soaking it in hot water and maybe washing it in the dishwasher (pull out to cool) to see if I can get it to work more easily. You don't have to do this, but it's worth a try. Obviously the manufacturer's mold didn't take shrinkage after molding into account and they have to adjust their process. @Cambro the manufacturing process needs to be adjusted.
