I was surprised to find an OFC cable at this price. I was skeptical at first but I have to admit this is a great wire! The caliber is actually slightly larger than 14g, which is nice. Unfortunately all of my strippers remove strands when using 14 gauge. The cable sleeve is of very good quality and thick. Very flexible, even too flexible. If you're trying to slip that wire through something, look elsewhere. If you can figure it out, great. I used it for both the speaker wire and the low power wire to power the LEDs on my jeep. It doesn't get hot and seems to retain heat in the engine bay. I wrapped it in the engine compartment with Tesa fabric tape. Sonically, this is a significant improvement over standard 20 gauge cable. I have not tried and will not attempt to use this cable in a home theater/stereo setup. But it's great for a car, or somewhere you're running a low-power system, or in a noisy area. I usually use Kimber cables or MIT cables for reference at home.
