The first thing I did when I got this mount was put it in the CD slot and then see if it could hold my phone. Although it was obvious the magnet was there, the phone slipped off. I took the phone out of the case, the problem remained. It wasn't an assembly error - I didn't see the little black box with the two self-adhesive metal plates you're supposed to use on the back of the phone. You get a rectangular plate and a round plate and use one of them. After I attached the metal plate to the back of the phone, my problem was solved. The bracket was simply inserted into the CD slot and snapped into place. I pulled him but he doesn't move. My phone is mounted on a magnetic head that can be moved to give you a better view of your phone.
