Although I have called it very poor design, the reason is power. First, I think it should be a single "D" cell design. Second, the O-ring that makes it weatherproof broke and fell off the lantern when the batteries were first installed. Everything else seems to be five stars so far. The light is bright and properly illuminates the cutting area of my band saw. This should make it so I can keep all my fingers to keep writing reviews! Since I don't want to leave my power tools out in the rain, a broken O-ring shouldn't affect my use. It also has a very strong magnetic base. When I need a light on my table saw, it's easy to move the light to this saw and save more of my precious fingers since it also has a cast iron top. If it had a decent o-ring and a "D" type battery I'd give it a five without question.
