Media could not be loaded. I have had this little welder for over a year now and it was my first welder, I knew nothing about welding until I bought it. In a year after training I made some good welds. even made a functional flat roof rack for his car. But since I started in welder school and met many experienced welders, I would not recommend this welder. It always welds the tips stuck to the metal instantly, the ground terminal shorted out and shot heavy sparks until it was unplugged. This is just a pain to work with. If you have an 8 hour job, you spend 4 hours getting this thing to work or fixing stupid bugs. If you want value for money, go to FORNEY. If you are looking for quality look for Hobart, Lincoln, Miller, Forney. All have entry-level equipment. Etosha has no website, no support, no name recognition, they don't even tell you where to find contact tips or contact tip holders. If you weld once a year this machine might be enough, but Forni still sells MiG machines for the same price. I will keep my etosha welder and maybe pass it on to my son when supplies last. I am delighted that my Forney 140mp is coming in but would love to buy it straight away!
