Review on MOOG 515071 Wheel Bearing Assembly by Daniel Tonini

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great item for 17 " wheels (RIM)

Great item! Perfect fit for my Chevy Silverado 5.3 liter V8 with single cab and kickstand. A NOTICE! Model! This is for those with 17 inch wheels (rim size). Comes with mounting hardware and original Moog box. I mounted it on the passenger side wheel. Easy installation (with the right tools): Just slide the caliper off, remove the rotor, 3 bolts behind the hub assembly and in most cases they should pop right out. It's very difficult, I used a lot of WD-40 rust remover spray. eventually it will fall out. The ABS sensor is already installed and fits where they are clamped. Recommended: Clean and re-lubricate brake components to avoid future cracking noise problems. Calm! I no longer feel a slight grinding noise when turning left and an odd clicking noise when backing up to the right, an odd clicking noise when driving a few blocks after getting out of the car to cool down (in the mornings when I'm... going home from work). The only minus I have is that this is part of Revain and it took me over a week to get it to my house despite being in stock (in stock) and prime (2 days) plus Amazon shipping /warehouse was about 20 minutes from my house, that might have been because Revain have their own delivery service in my area and they don't have UPS, Fed-Ex quality so I guess you get what you get. If time is a factor and you're willing to spend about $60 more then head to AutoZone, they can have it for you in store for pickup in hours if it's not already in stock. Follow up: I wrote this review above on August 11, 2017 and it is now March 5, 2020 and this hub is still working great with no issues. good choice.
