design and quality issues.

After reading the reviews I thought this was the perfect assembly robot. Unfortunately, mine is a lemon. The quality of the motors is poor, causing the robot to drift or, even worse, "jitter" when driving straight. The robot will eventually fix this, but momentarily when it changes direction, the "clatter" will return. The Bluetooth receiver will only connect when your tablet or phone is within a few inches of the robot, and it usually takes at least 2 attempts to be successful. The Bluetooth board sits very loosely in the socket, causing it to lose power and disconnecting you. The instructions are very small making it difficult to figure out where to place the different screws. So you spend a lot of time relaxing from watching videos to see where things are going. The power cord rubs against one of the wheels, a design flaw the manufacturer is aware of but decided not to fix. According to the manufacturer, the included camera needs a firmware update to work over a Wi-Fi connection. When I applied the firmware update the camera crashed completely, I couldn't even stream the camera through the attached Raspberry PI. The sound sensor does not indicate distance via the Android app. I wanted to ask the manufacturer for details, but consider everything. does not work properly, I will return the product as defective. There are just too many problems in one block to waste time troubleshooting further.
