I bought the small size and would say they are comparable to 3T-4T. I am now buying the next size up as it moves to 5T. If you need 4T, I would go for the middle one. He's been wearing them every day for 10 months now and they're still in pretty good shape. That's just not enough for him at the moment. There was some shrinkage initially, but I expected that.
