Review on Sony CDP CE500 5 Disc Changer Black Review by Chris Hanson

This device has its own opinion on the order in which it will play your songs

If I had to do it again I wouldn't buy this device. Here's why: your songs won't play in the order you recorded them. For example, if you create a playlist in Windows Media Player (on your computer), they will be saved and played in the order you want them. If you don't want where a particular song is on your list, you can move it to another location and save the playlist again. With this device you burn a CD from Windows Media Player (WMP) and the songs are played in random order. a way I couldn't change. The device also plays music from the flash drive, but again, the songs are played in random order. I've tried renaming the songs (e.g. 01 Deeper Well, 02 Peaceful Easy Feeling, 03 New Kid in Town, etc.) to try and get the device to play the songs in the order I want, but it just doesn't work. Work. This device appears to have its own individual memory and will play your songs in the order you want them. The quality of the music on the device is good. The price is okay. I love that you can also use a flash drive with the device. But if you're looking for a device that plays music in the order you want it, don't buy it.

Cons
