Review on Waterproof Dog Training Collar for 2 Dogs - FunniPets Remote Shock Collar with 2600ft Control Range, 4 Training Modes - Light, Shock, Vibration, Beep - Ideal for Medium and Large Breed Dogs by Alicia Mayne

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Essential for a stray dog

There are two collars, I change them, the charge lasts about 4-5 days, then I change to another. I don't use electric shocks because my dog doesn't pay attention to the tree as his fur is very thick. The vibrate function works great as I use it when she doesn't come back to me. I let him go outside and he wanders around the yard. I hit the beep and he comes back most of the time unless he finds a pile of animals to turn over. If it doesn't come back after about a minute, I press the vibrate button and it comes back. Or I keep pressing the button until it does. He shakes his head, so I know it's working. It has a green flashing LED that makes it highly visible at night. It's a little annoying when you're trying to sleep and it's on your face. It's light when it's in a dark bedroom. I don't know how to turn it off, it's not a big deal because I can tell when the battery is still charged. It's waterproof if you remember to close the rubber opening on the back. It has been washed many times. I had a sunbeam brand that I got from a $125 tractor, this thing has triple the range and a lot more features. There was even an LEF flashlight on the remote control. Never use it, but nice to have when needed. It looks a bit cheap but it lasted almost a year as my 5 year old used it to get his dog and repeatedly dropped it on the tile floor. It sure is worth the money
