I am ordering a meter because it can measure the capacitance of capacitors. After turning it on I set it to read the capacitance. If it couldn't read a 470uF capacitor, it read it as a 900+uF. I tested the capacitor with a mate's meter earlier this week and it read fine with a factory range of 473uF. I installed a prime next to it to read ohms and the meter showed OL. I suspect that funds are overstretched. I tried to test the 10kΩ resistor and I don't have a reading, only OL. I put the meter on auto mode and tried to read the resistance after a second or two, the meter read the resistance as 9.98k ohms as it should. The counter really only works in automatic mode. I can't trust this counter, that's why it's coming back.
