Lantern and color and finish nice solid construction. The door works great. Would I buy again just for the lantern itself (not the string of lights) and for indoor use (or covered patio) ONLY. I was going to use it outdoors for Halloween and the garland ran for several days on the batteries from the first set of batteries and after changing the batteries the lantern once got stuck in the rain and stopped working even though I drained it immediately (nowhere). Drain water as soon as it enters. There are no drainage holes under the door/windows). I could not get the remote to work stably. There are no instructions for the remote control or how to program the timer. This lantern is best used indoors only or under a canopy and the lights are NOT open 24/7.
