SPOILER WARNING - This gate set is underwhelming. The parts were packed in a small box with no packaging material and only rattled, although the paint did not chip off when opened. About half the angles are around 85 degrees, not 90, so there's a lot of fiddling involved, especially with smaller gates. Also, the faces are not perpendicular to the long side angle. The screws that come with it are soft and just unusable, so I used self-tapping screws I bought from a big store. They worked great. I built this by attaching it to a SURFACE TABLE so I can hold it up straight. Finally, after only 3 weeks of installation, one of the brackets started to rust near the weld. See photo. Good luck building on the concrete floor or portal. However, I have experienced over 40 years of woodworking to get this inexpensive kit to work. And the results are impressive.
